Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with GlassBuddy. If you're not, here's exactly what happens — no fine print, no surprises.
The 7-day free trial
Every new workspace gets 7 days of full access to all features without any payment. You don't need to enter card details to start. If GlassBuddy isn't right for you, just walk away — no questions, no charges.
Monthly plans
- Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation is instant.
- You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period — we don't cut you off mid-month.
- We don't refund the partial month you've already paid for. You're using the product through the end of the month, so that fee stands.
- No future charges after cancellation.
Annual plans
- Cancel from Settings → Subscription any time.
- We'll refund the unused months on a pro-rated basis, minus a 10% cancellation fee on the refunded amount. The fee covers payment-processing costs and the discount we gave you upfront for committing annually.
- Refund is processed within 14 working days to the original payment method.
Annual refund example
You paid ₹9,990 for an annual Pro plan (₹999 × 12 months × 1 user, with the annual discount baked in). You cancel after 5 months. Unused months: 7. Refund: ₹9,990 × 7/12 = ₹5,827. Less 10% fee: ₹583. Final refund: ₹5,244 to your original payment method within 14 working days.
When we issue full refunds (no fees)
- You were billed by mistake — for example, you cancelled but billing went through anyway. We'll refund the full amount within 7 days.
- Service was completely down for over 24 hours continuously due to our fault. Refund pro-rated for the affected month.
- Within 7 days of your first paid charge (after the trial). If you converted to paid and realized within a week that this isn't for you, write to us within 7 days and we'll refund the full first charge.
What we don't refund
- Partial months of monthly plans (you've already used them).
- Charges from more than 90 days ago.
- Fees for usage-based add-ons you've consumed (e.g. SMS credits, e-invoicing fees).
- Subscriptions that were terminated by us due to terms-of-service violations.
How to request a refund
Email billing@glassbuddy.in with:
- The email address on your GlassBuddy account
- Reason for the refund (we want to learn from this — be honest, no judgment)
- Any relevant transaction IDs or invoice numbers
We'll respond within 1 business day. If approved, refunds arrive in your account within 14 working days. We use Razorpay for processing, so the timing depends on your bank too.
Subscription pause
Going through a slow season? You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months from Settings → Subscription. Your data stays intact. Resume any time — you'll be billed from the resume date, not the pause date.
Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, escalate to support@glassbuddy.in. Mahesh (founder) reads all of these and responds personally.
We've kept this policy short and human because complicated refund policies are usually a sign that the company doesn't actually want to refund you. We do.
